Hello, I’m Ashley

Welcome to my creative therapy practice.

I’m a transpersonal therapist, writer, poet, researcher, and artist working with a variety of mediums, deeply passionate about creativity and how we can bring the creative process to inner work for self-discovery, healing and personal growth.

Transpersonal, which means ‘to go beyond the persona’, is a psychotherapeutic approach with a focus on the whole Self as many interconnected and interacting parts, systems or bodies—emotional, psychological, energetic, political, physical and spiritual—responding to our inner and outer world experiences. Our inner world, just like our our world, is innately creative and ecological in nature. With this approach, I’m able to offer a form of creative psychotherapy to my community that recognises and values reciprocity, interconnection and the creative process in the journeys we make to bring new meaning and insight to our lives and relationships.

I currently live, work and make in Kau-in Kau-in (Redcliffe, Moreton Bay) on Kabi Kabi and Ningy Ningy Country, just north of Magandjin (Brisbane, Queensland), with my partner and our five-year-old who keeps us curious. If you’d like to know more about my writing, you can find my portfolio website over here.
